Band Statement

It is with regret that we announce that, due to personal commitments, and geographical constraints, Satch will be leaving The Haiku after July 2012. Satch has been a valuable member of the band since his involvement with “Life After the Bomb” in 2010, and we have thoroughly enjoyed working with him. His input on the latest album was invaluable and there is no doubt whatsoever that it would have taken a completely different shape without him. Should the day come where he is able to work with us again, we would welcome him back with open arms.
As for the future of The Haiku, we have been gigging, writing and recording for pretty much six years without a break, and we now feel the time is right to go on hiatus. As yet we don’t know how long the break will be, but we are both very keen to continue to make music as The Haiku in the future. We feel it is best to take a step back while we consider the direction we want to take, and will hopefully return with fresh ideas, and a new enthusiasm.
Many thanks for your support over the past six years, and here’s to the future, whatever shape that may take!

The album is now available to pre order and if you get your order in early, you'll be able to download the album in full a week ahead of the release date (12th March). You'll also get a funky badge pack with four different badges.

We're pleased to announce that our third album will be released on Monday 12th March 2012. The album is entitled "Among The Stars", and contains 13 new tracks, including the free single "To The Night" which is available for free download by clicking here.
